In this piece, I channeled Caravaggio, specifically drawing inspiration from his painting David with the head of Goliath. I covered the head with a bag and hung a crown from the ropes that tighten around it. The crown represents the fallen king a symbol stripped of power.

This was my response to the "No Kings" protest that took place in the United States. By reimagining this classical work through a modern lens, I aimed to reflect the rejection of oppressive systems and the downfall of those once seen as untouchable.
