Born and raised in Mexico, I came to the United States at the age of 10. It was difficult for a young kid to adjust to such a new world, and even now, at 17, I sometimes still feel like I don’t fully fit in. My interest in art began during my freshman year of high school, when I took an Art 1 course. I instantly fell in love with it, and ever since, art has been constantly on my mind.
